What is "Proof" of Extra Terrestrials on Planet Earth?

I think there is actually plenty of proof.

I think the issue is more that there is no "trusted" proof. There is no proof that is being presented either by someone we trust a lot, or by a large number of people that we trust a good deal.

There are a lot of high quality photos that clearly illustrate craft with capacities way beyond human capability. And there are instances that are corroborated by multiple credible witnesses and sensors.

These (the craft) are not ours ( at least not within the realm of publicly known science ). They are too fast. And they show up on many sensors, and are seen by many credible witnesses swearing this under oath.

These are real and they are too advanced to be ours. Again there is proof for anyone who is willing to consider the reality of those statements for what they are.

I think the issue is not that we are lacking evidence, it's that we are lacking someone we trust, to vouch for that evidence as being authentic and significant.

We are looking for the president, or a unified congress, to walk up to a podium and say, "it's real, they're here, it's real, start moving toward acceptance".

The problem with this is that the people who would come out and make this statement, could be well aware of the truth of the matter and simply opt to not come forward with it. We can't prove it to all of us, until we prove it to them, and even if we do prove it to them, they may well just keep it to themselves.

Alternatively we are looking for them( the Aliens ) to land in a large city, and either observe that first hand, or have that be reported by the media unanimously as a non hoax event.

I don't think they have any intent of doing this. Either because they are busy, or they don't want human sweat on their nice clothes, or because we have requested it.

The problem then is that we could have proof being leaked every day. But unless it gets to the Presidents hands. And the president decides to actually make an announcement, it's a tree falling in the forest with no one around... except one guy that is now deemed "crazy" by everyone else.

What we need is to convince the President that he "A" has the authority to release this, and "B" that he SHOULD release this. My guess is that most presidents in recent history are intimidated by military authorities and so would not actually feel that they are in the drivers seat. They would not actually feel "empowered" to push for a release of this info. And even if they did, they can probably be pretty easily talked into thinking it's a bad idea to release this info.

Basically you need a strong President, who actually wants this information out. Then all the president has to do is start making phone calls and firing people, or cutting funding, whenever he doesn't get answers.

See even if they ( our government ) landed one (an ARV), in the middle of Downtown NYC, and let scientists examine it, the nature of this phenomenon is that it is such a shock to people, that all they would have to do to completely negate that "proof" is publicly state that it was a hoax or stunt of some kind. And people will then believe that simple , unproven, false statement, before they will believe their own eyes.

Proof isn't enough. It would actually require a concerted effort to convince the majority of the population that this is real. You basically have to go door to door and do demonstrations and council people and get textbooks re-written..etc

And then people will start to accept it.
