One concept that enslaved us during the #COVID pandemic, was that if you didn't wear a mask, you may be, however indirectly, responsible for someone's death.  This was an argument that was difficult to contend with.  But we MUST contend with it, because it's flawed.  Failure to sacrifice ALWAYS has this outcome, and importantly, every single day of your life, there are sacrifices not taken.  * How many hours did you work in a homeless shelter or domestic violence shelter this week? How many more could you have worked? * How much time did you spend investigating an unsolved crime or volunteering at a neighborhood watch? * How much money you spend donating to life saving charities?  * How much time did you spend volunteering to build up infrastructure in 3rd world countries? They then re-enforce that narrative, by "fact checking" only the content that disagrees with the mainstream assessment at the time. During #COVID We created the toxic extreme of virtue, where your personal sacrifice is demanded for the greater public “good”, to a fault.  To the point where no one is strong enough to stand up for themselves and their personal beliefs.  Sacrifice must be balanced with selfishness. BOTH are needed, in balance, for a free society to exist. BOTH, taken to an extreme, bring about great suffering. Blood is better than slavery. Because in the end, slavery always brings more blood.  Sacrificing all of oneself for any amount of spared blood, will lead to slavery. We all need to be free to assess how much we will sacrifice at a given time, for a given cause. There are some hints, in UFOlogy, that extraterrestrials are involved in the media and Hollywood, to try and shape our opinions. One theory that I had long ago, back when Aliens visiting planet earth was only a hypothetical for me, a thought that has occurred to many, occurred to me, which was, if "God Like" creatures existed what would they want with humanity? What would be the value of being here but not intervening? This sprang up more from watching The Matrix, than from considering extra terrestrial intelligences coexisting with us in our reality. What's interesting though, as I study the non human phenomena, is that the distinction in terms of the origin of the non human intelligence doesn't really change the question or its implications.
